Happy Holidays from Westminster Towers Blog! In anticipation of the time off you’ll likely have this upcoming week, we’re suggesting a few new release movies for you to see during your break. Whether you’re spending the holidays at your Tacoma, WA apartment or you’re traveling to visit friends or family, consider spending a few hours at the cinema to enjoy one of the following:

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

“A year after the events of The Last Jedi, the remnants of the Resistance face the First Order once again—while reckoning with the past and their own inner turmoil. Meanwhile, the ancient conflict between the Jedi and the Sith reaches its climax, altogether bringing the Skywalker saga to a definitive end.”

“Cats is an upcoming 2019 British-American musical fantasy film based on the stage musical of the same name by Andrew Lloyd Webber, which in turn was based on the 1939 poetry collection Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot. The film is directed by Tom Hooper—in his second musical film following 2012's Les Misérables—from a screenplay by Lee Hall and Hooper.”

Little Women

“Little Women explores the lives of the March sisters in 1860s New England, in the aftermath of the American Civil War. According to one of its producers, the new adaptation focuses more on the sisters' young adult lives, particularly after Meg, Jo, and Amy leave their family home. The film jumps back and forth in time and focuses more on themes rather than narrative.”

Frozen II

“Three years after the events of the first film, Elsa starts to hear a strange sound from the north calling her. Together with her sister Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven, they embark on a new journey beyond their homeland of Arendelle in order to discover the origin of Elsa's magical powers and save their kingdom.”
